Casa Mendoza Mexican Grill - La Quinta

It's impressive that a restaurant like this hasn't opened in the area before. The atmosphere is reminiscent of something you'd find in Santa Monica or San Francisco, with a fresh vibe. The food is outstanding! I highly recommend trying the Pastrami Sandwich or the Tickle Tree Burger—both are among my favorites.

I can't express how much I adore this place. The vintage atmosphere, the straightforward yet scrumptious sandwiches, and the incredibly friendly staff make it special. In a landscape dominated by cookie-cutter chains and franchises, this restaurant stands out as the genuine article. My child can't get enough of her grilled cheese and cucumbers, while I'm a big fan of the pastrami and turkey/avocado options.

Casa Mendoza is, without a doubt, my favorite Mexican restaurant. The staff deserves a perfect 10/10, and the food and its presentation also receive a 10/10. The owner is always present and greets everyone with a warm smile. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

AWESOME place... my new favorite Mexican restaurant in La Quinta! The golden Kadillac Margarita is AMAZING no driving after 1! We loved the Guacamole, Burritos (beans and cheese, Carne Asada and cheese), salsa and great service. Beautiful, plentiful outdoor seats before and back.

Just really good tasting, classic Mexican food. The best salsa I have ever had at a Mexican Restaurant, and top-tier quality food in a comfortable, casual setting.
