Very nice home. Typical setting. Varied menu, with local and “homemade” products. The meat (from Meuse) is excellent. Everything was perfect. Very good value for money. In short, a great discovery. Restaurant La Fontaine in Lacroix-sur-Meuse is a real gem. I had the privilege of going there to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday with a large table of 33 people. Despite the crowds and the already busy lunch service, the team welcomed us warmly at lunchtime and managed to adapt to our requests, particularly for the cooking of meats and the various aperitifs. Although there were a lot of us, the waiting time passed surprisingly quickly, and the whole family had a most enjoyable time. The meal was simply excellent, highlighting the quality of the meats, dishes, tartes flambées and desserts, all prepared with carefully chosen products. The room itself has a friendly atmosphere, offering a very pleasant atmosphere. The waitresses were extremely professional and courteous, contributing to the pleasant experience we had. Although discreet from the outside, this restaurant turned out to be a nice surprise. Despite my frequent visits to the area, I had never eaten there before. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area. An address not to be missed.
