The staff at the restaurant were all very friendly, however our waiter seemed to constantly overlook our table, resulting in us having to repeatedly request things. The prices were on the higher side considering the portion sizes.
The food at this restaurant is great and the service staff are attentive and friendly. The ambiance is nice, especially with the outdoor dining setup on the parking lot rooftop. However, the prices are a bit high for what they offer. The veal meatballs were excellent though. We were on vacation and plan to return on our next trip. We understand that everything in California is expensive and taxed heavily. The issue arises when the state raises minimum wage and restaurants increase prices, resulting in customers having to pay more on top of that. Unfortunately, this means servers may not see any increase in their pay. Despite this, the service was worth it. Perhaps they could include salads in the price to balance things out.
We had a birthday dinner for our daughter on her heated terrace. Music, ambience, food and service were all amazing. We had a lovely evening.
My husband and I have friends here for dinner. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and the Hummus appetizers. Nick took great care of us and the hummus was amazing! For dinner we sat in the cozy dining room. There was a two-piece band in the corner. The ambience was solid and alive. Michael was our server. We enjoyed the service we received from him. My husband and I shared the Burrata salad. It was perfectly prepared. I ordered the Pasta pomodoro. That was my second time to order it and it was delicious! My husband ordered the pasta bolognese and loved her! The food here is fresh and amazing. I recommend Rumaris for delicious Italian cuisine.
