Mimi's Cafe - Lake Forest

Came here for dinner, ordered the citrus salmon and the French pot roast. The pot roast is absolutely amazing and all the food are made fresh. The service is also very nice. Shout out the Hector from the restaurant. The only flaw is that there is no one named Mimi there....HmmmHmmmM

This is a fantastic spot for breakfast! The portions are generous, perfect for sharing, and the omelettes are especially large—ideal for two people. The service is excellent as well. I highly recommend this place!

I have visited several Mimi's locations and must say that they maintain consistency in both food and service across the board. I appreciate that they serve bread and muffins before your meal; however, on my recent visit at 9:30, the muffins I received were a bit cold, likely because they were closing at 10. Nevertheless, the overall service from the waiter was good, and the food was enjoyable. I would definitely return and explore more items on the menu, as they offer a wide selection. If you're looking for quick gourmet food with a touch of French influence, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Visited recently for dinner. Enjoyed the Mushroom brie melt with a petite side salad and freshly baked bread. Service was friendly and attentive.
