The rooms near the pool are far too loud, and often the pool music will close long after the pool. There is no room service and the restaurant does not open until 4 p.m. Not much in the gift shop. Outdoor fire area is wonderful. The floors are beautiful. TV in the room has no guide to see what is on, just a paper list of channels, but the guidebutton has on the remote control. Wifi works well. Not sure I'm going back.
Came here on a girl trip with my daughter and mother and we absolutely loved it! The property is huge, green, lush and peaceful. The lobby is so spacious and great to just get out of the room. It is out of the way and not walk to downtown Geneva Lake, but it is a short easy ride. The only thing I didn't love about the room was how resilient the mattress was, how small the bathroom was, and there was a very strange slowly pulsating vibrating sound when the room at night was quiet, which made me crazy. Apart from that, the coffee shop was comfortable below, although the service could use a light upgrade. Finally, we would definitely stay again!
Had a great two nights after booking only about a week in advance. As you arrive, the outside of the hotel can appear dated, but the rooms have been updated and were very comfortable. The reception was friendly and welcoming. We had rooms by the lake, but look is primarily from the pool. Pool is salt water and beautiful. Whirlpool and Cabanas are also available. Pool felt great after our golf course at Palmer Square in the National Golf Club. If you are looking for golf, use golfpass.com to book it, 2pm rate was $75 vs $130 if had booked thought the golf club. Just a morning on site breakfast as only muffins etc. are offered, but they were great and they have a coffee bar and can drink over any coffee you want. Overall, very good stay!
When booking a dog and family friendly resort the pictures are often deceiving! However in the case of the Ridge Hotel, the pictures I saw didn’t do it justice! It’s a place that would be great for a couples romantic getaway as well. The grounds are beautiful and the public areas nicely appointed. Our deluxe double patio room was perfect for my 7 yr old nephew, 9 yr old niece, their mom, myself and my French Bulldog. The pool bar was fun and family friendly. The room was clean and the staff very accommodating! Love that it’s a short drive to the Riviera beach and town.
We stayed 3 nights and found the room very comfortable. It was nicely appointed, very comfortable and clean. There was a nice balcony off the living room, and a full kitchen with regular sized appliances. We ate breakfast and lunch in the room. We found the staff very personable, eager to assist, and approachable. We loved the location of the resort-easy to head into Vernon or south to the wineries in lake country or west Kelowna. We don’t golf, so can’t comment on the course. Our main resort activity was the hike down to Ellison park and back. Overall, very pleased the resort and enjoyed our time there. We found it very restful and quiet enabling us to recover from busy days
