Lindey's Lakehouse Lakewood

Our first time and we loved it! Covid protocols were in full force we sat in a corner table with plexiglass screen. Started with some margaritas, followed by salads and biscuits- all ample sized and delicious. I enjoyed the salmon on a bed of broccolini and caramelized onions- served piping hot and so good. Hubby enjoyed a chicken rice dish and practically licked his dish clean. We splurged on a piece of key lime pie that was big enough for and oh so tangy and lovely ! Service and ambiance were great too!👍🏻😀

Lindeys was a disappointment this time. Came here for a date. Food was cold, drinks took a while and service was mediocre. Granted, we weren’t a needy table- I work in the Los Angeles restaurant industry as an event coordinator— I’m pretty mellow. The **** Mary was fantastic. I gotta say that! Our cocktails were disappointing. Both of our meals came without ingredients listed on the menu. Pickles on the chicken sandwich and bearnaise sauce for my steak. The food def sat in the window, I can guarantee that. My steak was room temperature and over cooked but like, cold. Our server was friendly so I don’t want to complain about her. The kitchen and the bar failed though this visit. As I am visiting, I hoped to situate a regular location to frequent while I’m here for the next few months. This is now my third visit and with the menu and food coming out the way it did, I’m reluctant to come back.

Upon arriving we were greeted and seated. Ambiance of the restaurant was so nice. We both enjoyed the dim lights. Food was great. Ran into one small issue and the manager was more than eager to help. The waiter was very straight forward. I have no complaints about her. I believe she was in the process of the restaurant closing. Which is understandable. So we felt a little rushed. Other than that. We had a great time, food was great. We’ll be back.

Brought my mum here for a sorta lunch beginning of dinner ordeal with my dog piper. She’s a registered service animal and they didn’t give us any issues! Big ups for that because dogs really do make everyone happier and being from l.a., my dog goes everywhere with me within reason. The food was good, our server was a very nice gal who was attentive but also pleasant. I’ll be back during my visit. Thanks for your service during these hard times.

Nice place. Drinks we’re phenomenal, some of the best I’ve ever had. Great ambiance. Too expensive for what you’re getting food wise.
