My husband had the shredded beef chimichanga with rice and beans, smothered in red chile. I wish I would of had my gorditas smothered in red because it was super tasty. Sopapillas are extra cost. Everything was amazing including the service. Thank you. We will be back again! Update 11/30/22: Came for dinner again. Everything was delicious once again. Great customer service! This time I had the #3 Combo plate. I chose the enchilada with green chile, ground beef flauta and ground beef crunchy taco. Yum! Plates are served with rice and beans.
The chips and salsa are good. We did have to add a bit of salt to the salsa, but it has a little bite to it that is nice. The food came out pretty quick. It was room temperature though. Had the food been hot I would give five stars. I ordered the ground beef gorditas smothered in green chili sauce. They were very delicious and I would order them again. The waitress was friendly and provided great service. The food is priced appropriately. I would recommend eating here.
Delicious plates and authentic mexican cuisine, food served quickly. Complimentary Chips and salsa are brought out initially, the salsa is flavorful yet regular authentic style. I ordered the Valparaiso Plate, which came with crispy pieces of sirloin steak, spanish rice, beans, guacamole and flour tortillas (options: flour or corn tortilla). Only 1 flour tortilla was served with dish, which I requested 2 more tortillas to finish my delicious plate. Tortillas are served warm, with food. For appetizers, we order the Cheese con Queso, which was very tasty, and came with additional chips. My cousin ordered a Chimichanga plate, de carne asada, and was hot, delicious, and filling. The drinks are super delicious and all hand made, both the horchata and limonada lemonade are freshly squeezed and creamy, you know we had to order refills. (Pro tip: I would request EZ on the ice, or better yet, no ice, as they are very generous with the ice). Overall 5 Stars for tastiness and affordability.
A great choice for quick Mexican eats. Impressive menu selection with options I don't always see at other Mexican restaurants. Only one lady was hosting, waiting, and cleaning when I was there, but she did a great job and was very friendly and polite. I tried their gorditas and chile con queso. Super delicious. I think I prefer my queso without so many chiles in it, but it was still very tasty. And they give you two baskets of chips with salsa on the house, which is super nice. The salsa was quite hot, so if you can't handle much spice, it will be very hot for you. The rice was one of my favorite Mexican rices I've ever had. Had.. A lemon zest to it maybe? I'm not sure, but it was very good. Also have alcohol and horchata. I would definitely try them again if I'm in the area.
We stopped here on a road trip back from white sands to Phoenix. Food here is fresh, flavorful and reasonably priced. I had the chicken flauta plate, the chicken is juicy and flavorful, well seasoned! My mom had the Gordita plate. She did enjoy the filling but did not like the breading of the Gordita. She didn?t like that the breading was made of corn mill. The agua frescas are delicious here and freshly made. I?d return to this place on a road trip again! If you live here or traveling through, I highly recommend giving this place a try!
