Le Neptune - Le Croisic

This just outside the harbour restaurant is worth the walk or very short ride from the port of Le Croisic! With a free parking lot over the street to supplement on street parking on one side of the street, it is easy to get and much easier to...Parking than other harbour restaurants. Go to the restaurant and the chef's bride welcomes you with a smile; with impressive gastronomic knowledge it explains the offer of the cook. The chef is trained in Paris and worked in top restaurants in Paris, New York and the US west coast. At a point later in the evening he came out of the kitchen and welcomed customers. Its work is tasted by critical and expert palettes, with the perfect mix of ingredients that surprise you how to enjoy every bite. This restaurant was managed by another facility about four years ago. The cook and his wife took over the restaurant and started their own brand. Le Croisic, outside the tourist season, is a small and intimate community, not always eager to change from a newcomer. This is not a criticism, but it has unfortunately somewhat less overcrowded Le Neptune than four years ago. But the next time I can escape New York City to come to Le Croisic, I will return to Le Neptune. I highly recommend it!

I was in these restaurants with friends. We had a very nice evening. The food was delicious, appetizer and main dish. Good wine and digestion. I strongly order this restaurant.

Cosy, friendly atmosphere and delicious French cuisine!! If you want to enjoy a meal with family or friends, book your table. The helpful owner will be happy to help you with very tasteful dishes. The boss will ask you personally if you enjoy your meal. The restaurant is open in the season from May to the end of October. There is no place like that!! If the weather allows, there are some tables outside.

The setting in this restaurant, just outside le Croisic, is what you expect from a fish restaurant. We where the youngest people in the restaurant including a baby that enjoyed his time loudly. Even though the other guest where not really fond of the little...one the owner took her time with him. To annoy the other guest I ordered a big plateau fruit de Mer so taking my time to enjoy. and did I!! everything was well made, very fresh served with a nice glass of Muscadet. my wife enjoyed a starter and dessert from the menu, off course fish. yes, even the dessert was savory. if you are a couple without childeren or if you are not anoyed by the fact that everybody is looking at you (even when they are quit) with childeren, will this be the place for your fruit de mer.

The chef clearly knows how to cook perfectly the products of the sea!menu child excellent service at the height is part of one of the waitress who lost his smile and who was frankly not pleasant. in these rates we expect better at the service level.
