Kabuki - League City

I visited the restaurant yesterday, Monday the 28th, for my birthday lunch. Unfortunately, I had an issue with my steak—despite my repeated requests to have it cooked less, the chef wouldn't adjust it for me. I ordered it medium to medium rare, but it came out with no red or pink at all. Additionally, when I asked the chef how long he had been doing the table-side show with the ingredients, he claimed he just started yesterday, which I knew wasn't true. He wasn’t very friendly either. On a positive note, our drink server, Tweet, was fantastic and did a great job with the salad and soup!

Overall, my experience at this restaurant was mixed. The food was enjoyable and the atmosphere was pleasant, as I had anticipated. However, I was let down by the service from our server. Despite the positive reviews I had heard, my party of four didn't receive any drink refills. The waiter appeared distracted, simply placing our food on the table and leaving us to ask both him and nearby staff for silverware and chopsticks. We ordered drinks, appetizers, sushi rolls, and a kids' meal, which came to a total of $94. While the food itself was quite good, the subpar service makes me reluctant to return.

Hibachi is definitely my favorite dish to enjoy here. You really can't go wrong with it—the crab puffs are amazing! The service is consistently quick and friendly. In my opinion, all of their sauces, soups, and salad dressings are the best I've experienced among all the hibachi restaurants I've visited. The sushi menu is also impressive and tastes fantastic! I highly recommend this place—10/10! Food: 5/5.

Great local sushi restaurant. Inexpensive and tasty sushi. Ample parking and easy to access from freeway feeder. Service is friendly and prompt. For food I recommend the sashimi. The rolls have more sauce than is necessary.Food: 5/5

Birthday celebration at the Hibachi table for the first time. We had a wonderful female server. Food was delicious and the hibachi entertainment was great! Only downer, I made reservations for 6:30pm. Everyone had to be there before we could be seated. 15 of us arrived early for the surprise but our table was not ready until 7:00pm. We had to stand in the entrance area and servers had to walk through with food. Customers had to maneuver through us as well. Being in everyone’s way was not fun. The overall experience was great being with family and friends enjoying a great meal. ???
