Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónFood is excellent. Atmosphere is fine, when the weather is nice the porch is great. Prices are reasonable. Try the Angry Pasta, it has a nice kick.
I'm a regular who has gone to this location for years and I must say for the past 2 months this location has gone down hill dramatically. I've never witnessed a new manager fight with servers over tables, never witnessed a manager down talk other employees, or throw plates of food on a table, or refuse to serve someone after being rude to the customer and the customer request a manager, once told she is the manager the customer walks out until recently. This is extremely bad for a business I guess the owner doesn't care about his business or his customers because this older blond lady (i forget her name but I believe it's Julie new manager) seems to be the root of a lot of issues that are currently happening lately such as amazing servers quiting people getting fired and food coming out cold. So with this said it saddens me as a long time customer of this establishment for many years I've decided that it's time to move on and find a new place to spend my money and enjoy great service and hot food once again. I really wish that the owner would step in and take care of the issues at hand and find a new manager until then I will no longer recommend either Moutons (leander or cedar park) to friends, family, new people that I meet or on Facebook. Also please note the Julie that replies to these reviews is a fake and the person who is in the photo does not work at either location.
We stood at the counter waiting to sit down, when we seated we had to ask to get the table wiped off. We could tell it was busy and we took our time looking at the menus, as it was difficult to see with the lighting. After sitting there for 20 minutes, we stopped a waiter passing by asking if we could get something to drink. He stumbled over himself and was very flustered saying he didn't know who our server was, so he would take our drinks. He came back a little while later saying that he couldn't make the drinks because he had not yet been trained to. Then when we asked what had happened to the lady who had greeted us , he said that she didn't want to wait on us anymore. We asked to see a manager, and he declined saying that they were too busy. We ended up leaving very disappointed because we were really looking forward to trying it. I don't believe the service from this woman, setting, nor prices are worth the wait with this place. I hope they can get better help in the future.
My sister, niece and I visited this restaurant this evening. We waited at the front desk to be seated. When seated we asked that the table be wiped off. The waitress complied, and never returned our table. After 20 minutes we stopped another person at the restaurant he said that waitress did not want to serve us. I guess maybe wiping off the table was a mistake?? We didn't ask to speak to a manager. The waiter said that the managers were too busy at this time. We were never even offered water before we left. Others were seen leaving the establishment as well
It's not a fancy shop, but the staff is friendly and the food is interesting and delicious with generous helpings. The pain Perdue is the absolute best french toast in the city!!!
