Let alone Ohio yeah sure many different presidents have stayed here but it's people like us that acquaint the golden Lamb over the holidays and have the experience of great spirits, great food, but more than anything. Great service from people like Jacob Give them five stars like me and you'll be sure to have a great time.
The Golden Lamb is an icon, and it's an icon for a reason. Expect old-fashioned, savory, and splendid. The Golden Lamb was built in 1812 and has been lovingly maintained: it's ambiance reflects the history of Lebanon and early Ohio. Service is excellent, with nothing but luxury restaurants on par with it. Just be ready for it to be expensive, because it is.
Great food and great service from Lexy. she was the server I've had in a very long time.
I love the history of this location and how kind the wait staff were to me and my family. It was pouring outside and we were able to enter the restaurant through the bar area. The food itself was tasty but wasn't anything impressive. However, it wasn't super expensive and I liked the area we sat. My favorite thing was the sugar pie we had for dessert.
We've definitely had better experiences at the Golden Lamb. On Fri Aug 9th around 4:30, I ordered the scallops which were not large scallops, therefore was surprised there were only three on my plate above the carrot purée and a few asparagus spears. For the price and size, I would think four or five would be appropriate. The waiter seemed a little rushed even though there were only three tables in our room. Sadly, there was a fly to tend to. Lastly, my husband and I both though that they need a wider choice of entrees, or at least change them up more season to season. Odd that they only have 9 or 10 entrees yet 3 of them are vegetarian not exactly commensurate with the population/clientele.
