This place is in a beautiful location, the taproom is amazing, the staff is as friendly as can be and now on to the beer. I tried a flight and they had a new England IPA on tap that was just amazing, tasted great, it was my favorite. Did not get to try any food but I will definitely be back again. This place is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone.
We sampled a complete flight of their dark beers and found four standout selections. The Irish Dry Stout and Banshee Irish Red are great all-day options, boasting full body and flavor without a high ABV that would make you want to hit the hay early. The Quarterhorse Porter presented a delightful complexity in its flavor that was wonderfully balanced. The nitro milk beer, while reminiscent of a dessert beer, remained highly drinkable. Coupled with the relaxed atmosphere of the venue, I’d rate this place a solid 7.8/10. If you’re in the area, definitely check it out. It’s truly a fantastic spot!
Fantastic beers in a lovely atmosphere! We decided to stop by after visiting a winery down the street (one for them... something for me!). They have an outstanding selection of beers that caters to almost every taste (check out the menu photos). What I appreciated most—aside from the delicious beers, with the Stray Dog IPA being my favorite—was that they served my flight in proper glassware. It was such a joy to enjoy their beers from real glasses... a note for other breweries, please take note!
This restaurant has excellent beer and a stunning location. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making it a wonderful place to visit. I really enjoy the peaceful, laid-back atmosphere. They also provide entertainment on Saturdays!
Very good, casual and family friendly local brewery. Big beers that often turn. As a rule, food trucks have weekends. Large facility that can accommodate a few people inside and outside. Entertainment on weekends. Fire pit for the colder months. Large play area for children. Today we have tried the English Pale Ale, Scottish Ale, Mountain Pass Pilsner and the Bourbon Porter. All good and very drinkable, especially the Scottish and the Porter. They had previously scanned their meeting IPA and IIPA and were great. You will sell sixths if you set it up in advance. For a while we had supplied them with a Hop Dog Pale Ale and a wonderful Schrute's Dunkle Bavarian Dark Warehouse for a partial tap takeover of our home-keeper. You can't do better than Barnhouse for a local Loudoun microbrauerei! They won't be disappointed.
