Stromboli - Lens

I've been twice in two days so far while I'm visiting France for my job. The staff is very patient and use my translate app with me to help communicate. The staff has also been quite friendly. The atmosphere is nice as well, just casual enough to be comfortable and fun. The food has been amazing so far. I tried finding a good steak around Lens for a couple of weeks before finding them here. The steak I had tonight was the best steak I've had in at least a year or two, and I currently live in Nebraska, which is world-famous for its beef, so trust me on this. I also can't have fries (or really any processed carbohydrates), so I asked for them to be left off. I didn't expect a replacement, and I've heard that it's very rude to ask for substitutions in France. However, the staff both last night and tonight asked if I'd want some vegetables, which was nice. I have to say that the green beans were probably the best I've ever had, even though I normally don't get excited about vegetables. If you're around Lens and want a fantastic steak, be sure to stop by here. The service was wonderful as well, which is especially appreciated as a foreigner! I will be back several more times before I have to leave France.

Superb warm, friendly restaurant, the staff is top notch and the dishes exceed our expectations. If you are looking for a place to eat well in a good mood and be received like royalty, Stromboli is the place to go. The Jamm_Family

Pleasantly surprised! not too much waiting the service has been quick and frankly delicious my son who has the habit of taking a second dish has not finished his plate and yet we are very difficult I recommend 100!% (friterie pam lala)
