Very pleasant stay at your campsite THANKS
Great campsite to disconnect for the holidays. The managers are very friendly. I love this campsite. Nearby activities: Lots of visits to do around the campsite. Food drinks: Restaurant open from Friday to Sunday during the period I go there and we eat well. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value
We were really glad to find this lovely campsite it’s in an idyllic location right beside the beautiful Lac de Montbel ! It was almost 40C when we arrived and 4days later it was 22C with drizzle !! Most people were happy with the rain as it had been so hot Lovely shaded pitch for our large tent We had a choice of pitches too and they are large and flat We went swimming in the lake with our dog on numerous occasions The people who run the camping are very relaxed Great little cafe too by the lake and the nearest village Leran is gorgeous with a couple of decent restaurants We ate in Le Dinanga superb food, glorious location and service Only one downside to camping was the temperature of the water in the toilet facilities hot when meant to be cold and cold when meant to be hot !! Another plus was the laundry room ! Would highly recommend if you enjoy being surrounded by nature Nearby activities: Paddle boarding Kayaking Horse riding Noteworthy details: Good value
The only nice thing here is the surroundings and the location. Furthermore, I wanted to run away on day 1. Poor communication and terribly dirty (I still cleaned everything myself). Broken glasses in the kitchen, hot and cold water is reversed and rude staff. At check-in everything was already closed and we had to look for the restaurant where the owner was making jokes with other guests about Dutch people (they are hardly to be found there so I would treat them a bit nicer) The other staff cannot or do not want to speak English and throw your food on the table as you go. The food was mediocre so we only ate there once. The website is one big Fata Morgana.. there is no swimming pool, the houses for 6 people are already cramped with 3. Kids entertainment is 1 play equipment and a wooden house with some stuff. If you want to go somewhere where it still seems inhabited, you will quickly have to drive half an hour to 45 minutes. The area is beautiful and it is great for water sports enthusiasts and people who enjoy walking and cycling, but then I would choose another campsite in the area. The lake has a lot So clay holes are a thing with small children, there is no supervision of the water, your own risk. I could write another book about it but my only tip is... don't go!!
