Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThe restaurant, housed in a new building, is quite nice: new furnitures in an old style that suites the surroundings. Menu is really small with only a few choices; quality is above average: salad, rösti and meat are tasty. I recommend the fondue cheese rösti! Price is a little bit high but can dal with this. Staff, instead, under average: only two waitresses (50 seats inside for a mature audience but can deal with this too) and no smiles nor a try to speak anything but german even with kids who cannot speak fluently. I really expected more.
Only two staff in the restaurant, unbelievably, one of them cannot speak English. We just want to order a coffee, the staff ignored us about 20 mins. Finally, there was still no one come for us, so we had to walk to the reception for the bill.
We found that this resturant was similar to some others in the area. Traditional layout and menu. My wife chose a Rosti dish and I had a local dish of chicken in curry sauce with fruit (Pineapple, Pear, Mango and Cherry). A really nice combination which I really enjoyed, My wife was happy too. Good service and clearly was frequently by locals.
We (a young couple) wanted to go there for dinner and share the Koenigsspiess , a 400g mixed meat grill skewer. They told us You can 't do that. !!! Do they really expect a single person to eat 400g of meat in the evening?? Anyway, we then individually ordered some smaller cuts, which were OK-ish, but nothing special, and absolutely overpriced.
