Very good bread. Nice little Chablis glass. Correct chicken without better than well presented.
A big blow for La Belle Epoque with the talented Mathieu Poirier, former chef at Lasserre who offers a very high quality bistro cuisine. It relies on small suppliers who work for the most beautiful houses, and makes it work all its creativity, its art to present dishes with colours and elegance. A very big chef who has all the freedom to express himself in this magnificent brewery, former cabaret of the Belle Epoque.
A superb team that welcomes with conviviality in this super frame in the heart of Paris. Always a nice atmosphere to equal the kitchen for beautiful evenings with friends.
Dinner with friends. Very good atmosphere. Great service. I loved vegetable stuffed tomato, a treat. And bread, so good.
We had reserved a table for 9:30 p.m. Obviously, our table is not ready (as is often the case for the second course). Thirty minutes to wait to be installed. The entries arrive quite quickly which is cool. The beef tataki is really delicious, as is the avocado toast. On the other hand, the portions of foie gras are very light, which is a shame. On the main course, the beef fillet was really good. On the other hand, too bad for the skate which was a little overcooked. For desserts the Paris Brest was good but the star is the chocolate mousse which is a little pleasure to share. Quite cool general atmosphere with sound to get you going and go to the party afterwards.
