Brockley Jack Public House - Lewisham

Visited the Brockley jack with my granddaughter and daughter in law, amazing food! The staff are very helpful and friendly, always a smile! Enjoyed the food was delicious, definitely recommend the Brockley jack will be coming again very soon! Thank you Brockley jack

Monday night, no food in the fridge, so we ventured to our very local pub, which we have visited many times before. The Brockley Jack provided decent, no frills food which is good value for money. Bar staff are friendly and helpful. We will keep coming back!

Gorgeous building. Nice theatre attached. Lovely garden. Got excited when I saw them painting the woodwork in the bar and read that there was new management. Went back with plan to eat. Was totally ignored by barman who just kept chatting to people already there as I stood there. Nothing wrong with being friendly to customers, but I kept looking his way and he didn't even acknowledge me. Back to giving this place a wide berth. I thought one star would be unfair as I didn't stay to order any food or drink.

We have family living around the corner so often visit the Brockley Jack with them. I have to say there were times when the food and service were lacking in the past few months but what a difference a new landlady makes. Since Sarah took over we have visited twice and found her to be very friendly and welcoming with a bit of Welsh charm. Food was lovely and really good value for money. Service was second to none. Its lovely to see a management team who really care about the customer experience (we even caught sight of her painting the bar on social media). We will definitely be returning next week.
