South Side Hoagie Shop - Lewistown

A real Lewistown party! Food is fantastic, environment fantastic, people fantastic! The Norman Rockwell paintings on the walls, and the old bar and bar stool, I cannot imagine that this place has changed since my mother grew up a child on the south main street. Southside is Lewistown!!!

The staff here are very friendly and respectful. I really love the food!

Delicious, freshly made food prepared while you wait. The hoagies come with their own unique dressing. It's a fantastic spot for a quick bite or to sit down and enjoy your meal. There is also a spacious parking lot next to the restaurant that can accommodate large trucks with trailers.

This is a fantastic spot for lunch or any meal. I will definitely be returning!

After a long 10.5-hour workday and a 5-mile bike ride, I stopped by this restaurant for takeout so I wouldn't have to cook. I ordered chicken tenders and fries for my son, an Italian cheesesteak with fries for my husband, and another Italian cheesesteak without onions for myself, along with an extra order of fries. Once I got home, my son had his meal, and I told him to warm up his dad's food in the microwave since he would be asleep for a while. But when I opened my order, I found a cold Italian sub without onions, which I absolutely cannot stand. All I ended up having for dinner was fries! I'm so incredibly frustrated!
