The new lunch menu is worth exploring. We tried the Flaming Hot Pot with the Tom Yum Mushroom option. It’s basically the Tom Yum Mushroom soup for two people, served with a good portion of rice – an ideal light meal for those who like spicy food. There are the usual less spicy options, and a great deal of vegetarian/vegan choice. We are fairly frequent customers, and the staff, who have come to know us, are always most welcoming. Service is very prompt, but the staff are more than happy for customers to linger or to order more. There isn’t on-site parking, but nearby car parks are in Bird Street, where a small alleyway leads directly to Ma Ma Thai, or else around the corner in Sandwell Street.
Over priced and small portions. Three courses and the bill seved up within 45 minutes. Don't go if your looking for a long dinner or quilty dinner
Loved the experience. The service was enthusiastic, and felt genuine 'Welcome to Thailand! ', in the words of the staff. But the food was simply delicious. We had a satay chicken, that was well cooked, and the peanut sauce was lovely. It came with a good arrangement, and a sweet sauce on the side (plum...? . For mains, we had a Pad Thai Pork, and a Beef with Chilli and Basil. The beef showed three peppers for a spice index, but was not that spicy. The flavours were beautifully balanced, and where the beef simply brimmed with taste, the pad thai had a brilliant texture and nutty under taste. All in all, definitely worth a visit.
Went for lunch with a friend after being told by another friend how good it was. It was very good. Excellent service and fabulous food. Lovely atmosphere, clean. Thank you
