Kalapaki Joe's - Lihue

Tried to eat here but was turned away because we weren’t local. A local group with same number in their party came after us and the girl looked at us and said “not for you, and escorted them in”. Go to Lilikoi Bar and Grill instead, great service and very friendly environment!!

Service was unbelievably horrible. We waited 30 minutes with no drinks before I had to go to the bar to ask for them and then waited another 10 minutes with the bar half empty. The food was even worse : the calamari was giant slices and half cooked (absolutely disgusting) then my “entree” looked and tasted like fried, frozen chicken nuggets on a bed of rice with canned gravy. I will never eat at Kalapaki Joe’s. Rudest bartender I’ve ever seen.

Great food and great drinks! they also have a great lucky charm! the staff was very friendly and we got our food and drinks quickly. I highly recommend it.

Kristy was amazing! Was referred by a local caught happy hour, the poke nachos were delicious! Not to mention 25c wings the $3 fish tacos were YUM! Food was sooo fresh. There were 2 girls running the whole show. Great customer service!

The best happy hour on the island, .25 wings! TV screens for both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is good and the staff is friendly, one of my favorite places to go on the island.
