La Creperie - L'Île-Rousse

We stopped here en route from Bastia to Calvi for lunch. My wife and I shared le filet de daurade royal at 17 euros +drinks. The fish and the ratatouile were excellent, and would have gained a 5 star rating. However they failed to accept my credit card... a ploy used by some French restaurants to insist on cash payment, without telling you beforehand.

Went there for a quick dinner and ok but nothing more. Had the calamari but fairly tasteless and French fries were warm rather than hot. Kim had pizza which had a total of 2 olives. We had crepes afterwards but again fairly bland

The waiters in this restaurant are very friendly. It's not the best meal we had in Ile Rousse but the atmosphere is nice and it's great value for lunch.

Squashed between other cafes it didn't look anything special. We were wrong. Excellent stopover for a well priced and tasty lunch. Omelette and pizza both very good. Would go back to try more on the menu

The food was good, the staff friendly. The portion of dessert was abundant. There is a big parking lot (not free, but not expensive) behind the patio dining area.
