Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónSince our student days in the late 1970s, there has been little change. A magnificent building that cries history. There are some great beers and the food is very well supported by super service. Well a visit with, of course, the world-famous male toilets!!!
Stunning beautiful old bar, great to relax and enjoy a pint in. We were in a group of 7 and got a seat in nice area, although the entire place is a nice area! The bar has lots of character and charm, with some little rooms to sit it or stand by the bar. Wide selection of ales and beers on tap too. Good selection of pub style food available and at a reasonable price. There are not many places left like this. A truly unique venue. Make sure to visit!
Such a nice pub. Lots of great beers on offer and the staff are so nice. It's famous for the toilets, but it's such a beautiful building and a great way to spend some time with a good quality beer. We had the large fish and chips, buttered chicken burger with fries, and the fish and scampi. All three meals were great and definitely filled us up.
Loved it! Well kept beer hearty sandwiches, an ideal stop for refreshments during the day. Bypassing this pub will be your loss.
This is such a beautiful building to dine in. Lots of space, and some small cosy nooks too. There was a great variety of food and drink which was served in a very timely manner. We will definitely be visiting again. We did go in the afternoon so it was fairly quiet. I imagine it is a vibrant place to attend before a show at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
