The staff was not very polite when it was a complaint. The food offered was only set menu, al a Carte not offered, but should have been made aware at the time of booking. We waited for dessert for 45 minutes, we chose the cheese table so not sure if they wait for the milk to shorten. In those 45 minutes we were not asked if we wanted a drink.

Very disappointing experience. We ate in the afternoon before a theatre visit. The restaurant was tied up after lunch, which did not add to the lack of ambience; it was like McDonald's. We were the only diners (4) But the food was late, cold, badly presented and badly prepared. £200 for a lack of Lustre performance ...Gor, then judge Hare instead!

We went with the Winter Set Menu, which was excellent! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived, the place was almost empty, but a little later filled. Good background music, but not too loud for conversations.

Fantastic Christmas dinner! Service, ambience and food were brilliant!

Very nice food , however waiter didn’t give me a choice to add the service charge and put it in the card machine without asking
