The food at this restaurant is amazing and there is plenty of it. We ordered the set menu for two and were unable to finish it all, which was disappointing. It reminded me of my time living in Cyprus and enjoying Mezze. I would definitely suggest this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Greek cuisine.
I made a reservation at this restaurant for a party of nine, which included three well-behaved children. The welcome we received was a bit lackluster but adequate. We ordered a mix of hot and cold starters for the kids, and fish meze for the adults. The starters arrived promptly and were decent, although there were quite a few fish sticks. The hot starters were minimal, consisting of spanakopita, lountza, halloumi, and fish all served together on a large platter. While tasty, the portions were small, especially compared to what one might typically expect for hot starters like calamari rings and whitebait. The service throughout our meal was just average. Overall, we found the experience disappointing and felt that the prices were too high for what we received. We do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
The restaurant has a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with simple decor. It is not crowded and has nice Greek music playing at a comfortable volume. The place feels like it is family-run. The food is freshly cooked and uncomplicated. However, I wish there was more emphasis on salads and vegetables as they seemed like an afterthought. The grilled sardines were delicious though, cooked over a charcoal grill, making it worth a return visit.
This little Greek (actually Cypriot restaurant in Camden feels like on holiday very charming service, generous appetisers, good choice and lovely taste (good portions! . We'll definitely come back.
