Thyme and Lemon - London

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The tapas dishes were delicious, with a mix of classic favorites and unique offerings. The atmosphere was relaxed yet stylish, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or a special celebration. The staff were friendly and provided great service. I will definitely be returning in the future.

The menu at this restaurant offers a wide variety of options, with well-prepared dishes and generous portions. The service was excellent, although the room was a bit chilly even with the heaters on. The prices are quite reasonable.

Overall food is good. The service was friendly and they were good about taking a photo. However, on the website they advertise a 3 tapas deal for 12.50. We arrived to see a sign outside 3 tapas deal for 14.50. I wasn't amused. The waitress then apparently had no idea about the deal and went to check. Deal for 14.50. Fine, I note that the deal online was more restricted in choice anyway. We order, generally enjoy the food and get the bill. The deal was not taken into account. The waiter then says we should have let the waitress know. This annoyed me as I'm pretty sure she asked him about it. There was only saving c. 5.75 and had to choose 2 dishes from the sections. I've previously recommended this restaurant on another site but this experience annoyed me. They need to amend their website and educate their staff.

I have been to Thyme Lemon before with my boyfriend and we have subsequently taken a number of friends as we loved it so much. I most recently went on 28/07/2017 for dinner (around 7pm). The service was not ideal as our waitress messed up our order meaning that we got food in the wrong order and we were brought a number of dishes that we didn't order. Unfortunately this meant that by the time we had all our food, a substantial amount of it was cold. One of the dishes in particular the steak was not pleasant and was fairly fatty. We have had this before and the presentation/cut was different and definitely far better. As always, the stand out dish was the arroz negre which was absolutely divine. Thyme Lemon remains one of my favourite restaurants on Upper Street but this particular visit just wasn't quite to the excellent standard that is usually delivered.

Good food pleasant atmosphere. Staff very pleasant.
