Excellent food and drink in an unlikely environment (a former classroom) with lots of natural light. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fair prices worth every penny!
Found a new brunch spot by Yap! I was here a few times for golf and saw that they also have a bar/grill area, but I never tried. Came here last weekend with my friend for Brunch and was pleasantly surprised. The waitresses were very attentive and the price was not so bad compared to other Brunchspots in Forest Hills or Astoria. They have a very spacious interior and even an outdoor area that can also be reserved for private parties. The food was pretty good, especially her waffles. Had a star to forget my avocados in my omelet. I'll be back soon.
The decor is literally old school, and the menu is small, but the ingredients are all high quality. The golden beet salad with goat cheese was delicious and had to taste the Tortarburger, my first experience in eating raw beef. It's been a few days since I was there, and I feel good, as I said, high quality. Beautiful selection of beer in bottles. You can say that the cook is from Canada: here it is, the 21st. Century, the only hot sauce they have is Tabasco, and they keep it in the refrig!
We dropped in for lunch before spending time wandering the halls of PS1. Staff are amazing -land very friendly and accommodating. The food we tried was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by us. Coffee wasn't quite to my taste. A good selection of drinks otherwise.
