Bottle of Milk - LORNE

We are in Lorne for the weekend and were looking for somewhere for a quick brekkie. After a walk down the main street decided on this retro cafe. We had coffees and the scrambled eggs and the Cold Shower brekkie burger which has egg, bacon, hash brown, lettuce, mayo, avocado and relish on a sordough roll. Very morish.Service was reasonably prompt (low season so quiet).

Nothing memorable but excellent burgers even if the menu offers 20 similar choices between beef and chicken. Retro-styled venue right on great Ocean road. Average price 12/18 dollars for a comfortable dose burger but served without fries Promoted for a hearty albeit quick lunch

We had a beautiful seat in the back courtyard, private and comfortable. Milkshakes weren't great but nice chips and definitely trying a burger next time!

Really good fries. I remember the Ferg Burger in Queen's Town better. But the fries. Hmmm

Friendly staff, good choice for breakfast, fast service. Glad we chose there to eat.only negative was I ordered a large coffee and got a regular-didn't worry me though.
