Station Hollywood - Los Angeles

I've been a fan of this place since 2008, even though I’ve had a few unfair experiences. I also talked about the Wyndham in South Carolina. The photos were taken at the W in Hollywood during New Year's Eve 2019/2020.

The W Hollywood offers a lively Los Angeles vibe, evident in the lobby, lobby bar, and the pool area on the 12th floor. The pool is a wonderful spot to unwind while enjoying drinks from the poolside bar. My guest room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel's location is perfect for those eager to explore the Hollywood experience. The Hollywood Walk of Fame is just steps away, and many guest rooms and the pool deck offer views of the iconic Hollywood sign and Griffith Park Observatory. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the valet service was quick and efficient. It seems the hotel is bouncing back nicely from the impacts of COVID-19 and is revitalizing its energy.

I would like to start by saying that Laura, who works at the front desk, was very friendly and helpful. Sadly, the other staff member at the front desk was quite rude. Upon arriving in my room, I found dog food on the floor, toilet paper in the toilet, and what appeared to be mouse droppings under the bathroom vanity. The hotel had a pervasive smell of marijuana and seemed to lack adequate security measures. There was no free Wi-Fi or cell service available, which was disappointing. Situated in the heart of Hollywood, the hotel is surrounded by homeless individuals and sex workers. I chose the W Hotel because it is a Marriott property and expected a certain level of service and cleanliness, but unfortunately, this was not the case. Additionally, I had a hard time finding an open restaurant when I needed to eat. I will not be staying at the W Hotel in Hollywood again.

**The Service:** Alejandro took my order, and it was such a delight to be greeted by a friendly smile at the counter—it really brightened my day! He recommended that I try fried eggs in my Breakfast Burger, and I appreciated his suggestion. The service was incredibly efficient! **The Food:** Their breakfast is perfect for a quick bite in the morning, served from 8 to 11:30 AM, and everything is made to order. The Breakfast Burger features a beef patty, two eggs, and plenty of vegetables, all topped with their delicious secret sauce on the bun. I love that I can enjoy a burger for breakfast now! **Hollywood Rito:** They include crispy tots (my favorite) in their breakfast burrito along with grilled vegetables and melted cheese. **Avocado Toast:** This is a super healthy breakfast option with a generous portion of avocado. They even added a little salad underneath the toast! **The Parking:** Street metered parking is available.

Great value for the price! This is an affordable yet excellent hamburger. The staff is very friendly as well. I highly recommend giving it a try if you’re in Hollywood!
