Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónOur server was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful with the menu, which featured many specials for a Saturday night — some of which we decided to try. We started with an appetizer, the chorizo dip, which was decent; nothing extraordinary, but we enjoyed it. For the main courses, my wife ordered a Mediterranean chicken dish and found it enjoyable, while I chose the dry-aged ribeye steak. The food came out relatively quickly, but unfortunately, my steak was overcooked and extremely tough. Our server noticed and promptly took it back to have a new one prepared, which I appreciated. Twenty minutes later, the owner personally brought out my new steak. It looked fantastic, but when I cut into it, I discovered it had a purple, nearly cold center (I had ordered it medium). This took the owner by surprise, and he promptly returned it to the kitchen to cook it longer. By this time, my wife's meal was getting cold, so I encouraged her to enjoy it while it was still warm. When our server came by, I asked her to cancel my steak. We had other plans that evening and couldn't afford to delay our schedule any longer. Shortly thereafter, the owner returned with yet another steak, but by that point, we explained that we really had to leave. Unfortunately, I ended up not being able to enjoy any steak that night. The owner handled the situation well, removing the charge for my steak from the bill, and he was genuinely embarrassed about the mishaps. He even offered us a gift card for a future visit. Overall, the food was good, the service was satisfactory, and although it wasn't as upscale as I had anticipated, I can see how it could be a lovely place for a nice evening out.
My wife and I ate there last night and I wasn't impressed! The server got our order messed up to begin with, my wife ordered the pork chops with marsala dressing and it came out with a glaze instead. Then my macaroni cheese side was left back in thekitchen from my order. Although the waitress was nice I think she just had too many tables for one person! My pulled brisketwas very tender but had no flavor, I'm sorry but for the price we paid for the total bill, it wasn't very good food! Also Iwasn't impressed by our appetizer the red head potatoe bombs was very average to my taste. I expected the potatoes to be wholeand it was mashed potatoes underneath with baked pulled pork on top . The BBQ sauce was very good though, this is about thethird time we have been to this restaurant in about 2 years and I don't think we will be back, sorry to say!
The food was really delicious. Perfect sear and robust beef flavor on my filet. The potato bombs were aptly named. My husband loved his steak with a peppercorn sauce, spicy Mac and cheese. My cocktail was a peach sangria and it was strong anddelicious/fresh tasting. Our waitress Tiana* was welcoming, warm, and just a pleasure to talk to. I didn?t catch the kitchenmanager?s name but he came out to ask us about our food twice, and he was also very kind and nice. The music and the vibe wasvery chill, great jazzy music and a homey feeling. They have specials Monday night- definitely one of the best meals I?ve had ina long time! I didn?t like the pretzel bread sauce, and the hollandaise was a good sauce but not as creamy as I?d have liked.Overall still a wonderful experience.
I had the pleasure of being the first customer to try their new online ordering system yesterday! The process was straightforward and user-friendly. The staff was fantastic while I waited for my food, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. Honestly, it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The only downside was that I ended up with a bit of a stomach ache from overeating too quickly! I will definitely be returning again and again. I highly recommend Scratch! A solid 10 out of 10!
The pork chop dinner was so incredibly good that I can't even find the words to describe its perfection! The asparagus was hands down the best I've ever had at any restaurant! My husband had the filet dinner, and he loved every single bite. And oh, the cheesecake – mmmmm, wow! We even asked Chef Mike to come out so we could tell him how much we enjoyed his cooking. This place is an absolute must-visit!!!
