Montana Beach Club - Lucerne

Breathtaking view. During a sunny day, it's the best place in Lucerne to make an aperitif and enjooy the time with friends and family.

Great evening that we spent on Montana Beach club. Apart from the view, which is breathtaking, the service was phenomenal. The entrees appetizers were tasty and generous. Also, I would recommend you to taste to their Negroni, lovely presentation sensational taste. Also, if you have the will , after closing , the hotel's bar has a very comfortable atmosphere 5/5

This place is mainly meant for hotel guests only. Local visitors are not very welcome.... And as this seems to be a place where the utterly rich show off smoking their most expensive cigars it is not possible to stay only a couple of minutes for a non cigar smoker... So after waiting in the staircase for roughly an hour made me then throw up 15 minutes later once seated in this unhealthy environment. Also ordering simple things like tea is only possible for the hotel guests.... Overall a place to strictly avoid ever going again!

View is amazing and that’s the only good thing I can tell about this place. Service, terrible. Waiter clearly didn’t care and his attitude was a lot “we have enough guests here so we don’t care if you’ll come back or not”. Dress code on the website and guests in sport clothes, why have a dress code at all then? Drinks… one of the worst I’ve ever had. We ordered beer to start with, we had to wait for it good 10-15min, even though place wasn’t even half full. Beer was out of taste and out of gas, I also suspect not fresh/out of date since it gave me terrible stomach. After beer we wanted to give it a try with a cocktail since it seemed more “beach club style”. We got disappointed as well. Water with drop of alcohol and low quality syrup. Nice view with quality of drinks and service like from cheap beach stand. And place situation ridiculous. Two guys sitting next to us asked if they can switch tables for better one. Waiter said they can’t because it’s reserved, 10 minutes later they didn’t wanna let guests in, because they were about to close. Who was it reserved for then?
