Atmosphere was fantastic, love the decor, friendly staff. Their set menu chicken karaage, chicken teriyaki, pork shogayaki and deep fried oyster were awesome! Price ranges from $17 to 20, and we were full. Would definitely recommend and come back again :
This place’s set style was unique and food was nice, the service was on point and staff were very approachable. The sashimi was fresh and every dish featured in the set had its unique taste and flavour. I thought I had to order more to be full however you’d be surprised as to how full you’d feel from a set with many small dishes which adds up. However; it is kind of disturbing to find hairs on a piece of beautifully cooked pork belly, don’t you think?
I attended a food blogging event at Ha Lu Japanese Teishoku in December, 2018. The service was fantastic fast and efficient whilst catering for a large group of people, and they were very open to constructive feedback. <br/ <br/ Highlighted dishes included the sashimi, unagi eel teishoku and the chicken karaage! The complimenting side dishes were also delicious especially the lotus chips and the konsai root vegetable salad with sesame dressing and egg. <br/ <br/ The ambience was calm, peaceful and secluded, despite the fact that it is just off Albany Hwy. I had a great first experience there! Thank you Ha Lu Teishoku for having us! :
We had dinner here and tried a range of dishes. The service was great and we loved the gozen side dishes. All the side dishes were cooked perfectly and it was great to have a little bit of everything.
New restaurant opens so we go to try out. Food and service is good. Staff are friendly. I like the decoration inside. Once you walk in, you can see bamboo tree. Open space kitchen. The menu mainly set meal.
