I have two favorite airport restaurants in europa, plane food in t5 in heathrow and il mondos in the dunchner johann strauss airport. both have interesting high positions and views beside fantastic menus and fine kitchen, lyon st exupery airport artisan restaurant not...have these advantages, also not has it much else to offer, the service is brunette, the eating well cooked, but unimaginatiw and the beer that I was given was more like vinegar. in the bistro they would certainly get better worth in the ground floor.
With recommended from my AirBnB host I went to dinner at 730. there was almost no one. the restaurant is a traditional French restaurant. the problem that I was faced with was that the cook did not speak English, but fortunately there was someone who translated the menu for me (not sure whether he works there or not). yet it was great to eat there. the cook brought me the wein and helped me to be poured into the weinglas. they also serve broth during the waiting. I had 6 escargots de bourgogne farcis (burgandy escargots) for starter and I had quenelle maison au brochet au coulis d’écrevisses for mains (it was a bit like flour with carcinoma sauce). the escargot was very nice, and the sauce for the snake was fantastic. for the price they pay, they would expect to receive the same quality of food. overall a satisfied customer would recommend to come friends here.
At noon this is a diner for the local business, so it is fast and easy. the service is good; what is excellent is the quality of the local kitchen. I had the boeuf bouruignon, my colleague had the coq au vin. both were just. as good as they can get and beautiful play of the French crafts kitchen well made. I want to go back.
Jolie terrasse l'été, dommage que les plats ne soient pas de saison en été,beaucoup de plats d'hiver un peu trop riche ,(saucisson au vin) ,peu de salade au choix .L'accueil est sympathique ,la cuisine de qualité ,les prix un peu élevés.Trés bon baba au rhum!!!
