Deja Vu - Malahide

Such a lovely charming appearance outside and nice music/ambience inside, but the reception from the staff was very cold and unwelcoming and the table service left much to be desired for such a small place. Staff literally ignored us while they ate at the bar. One party who were seated after us were left waiting outside for over 40mins and when they got up and walked inside to ask for the progress of their food they were told the kitchen was closed they had to remind the staff they had already ordered! No apology for the wait, it was really poor. I felt menu selection really didn't match the style/appearance of the restaurant at all, the specials on the blackboard were lovely but the limited menu of breakfast items in the late afternoon/early evening felt very odd. I wouldn't return or recommend unfortunately

We visited for dinner delicious food. I ordered the steak and it was cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely too!

Just had a little time to stop on a busy Saturday but was craving for my favorite Eggs Benedict. Those were delicious up there amongst some of my favorite ones and well presented with that lovely little hollandaise sauce pan. Will come back at leisure this time soon.

Had the most gorgeous brunch in Deja Vu today, this gorgeous little restaurant is a gem in Malahide! The food was absolutely superb, couldn’t fault anything atall! The open kitchen was nice to see and the decor was so cosy and just had a lovely vibe! Have eaten in almost every other restaurant in malahide and couldn’t recommend this one higher for its breakfast/brunch, can’t wait to come back and try more!

Had a lovely breakfast at this charming wee restaurant whilst on a long weekend break in Malahide. The Deja Vu breakfast is highly recommended though my only regret was that it left me full up and unable to tackle one of the stunning looking croissants that they also served. Staff were lovely and it looked as if breakfasts were made fresh to order which in this day and age is a rarity, but you can definitely taste the difference. Quite a small charming restaurant but has a lot of character and I would have no hesitation in going there again to sample more of their menu.
