It wasn’t served in the traditional artisan roll, and the pork was marinated with spices and sautéed onions. Bifanas should be straightforward, made simply with olive oil, crushed garlic, and salt. While the sandwich was tasty, it wasn't what I was expecting. The café caters to blue-collar European sports fans, so don’t anticipate a cozy atmosphere. The service is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I recommend giving it a try if you're interested in exploring Iberian Peninsula cuisine.
His side of vegetables was overcooked and unappetizing. I ordered the garlic chicken, but it had such an unusual smell and taste that I wondered if the garlic had gone bad—maybe it was canned? The chicken itself was also overcooked and just mediocre, and it was the peculiar smell and taste that stood out, almost sour. I love garlic, but I've never encountered a scent like that. Thankfully, I didn’t get sick, but I really can’t explain what went wrong. The dishes lacked seasoning altogether. The rice looked decent, but was overwhelmed by the garlic sauce. The best part of the meal was the complimentary bread, which was surprisingly much better than the standard restaurant fare: thick, soft, dense, and warm. We initially came due to the good reviews but wouldn’t consider returning. If it weren't for the date, I would have sent my food back. I tipped normally since I suspect the cook was inexperienced that day, and it's not the waitress's fault. My advice to the restaurant is to taste the dishes before serving them. The prices are high, and it felt like a waste of $50.

Still real good but portions of seafood reduced compared to the past. I would prefer they raise prices and keep the presentation up. But still very good.
I had an amazing experience with exceptional service and authentic Portuguese cuisine. It truly made for the best birthday celebration ever!
