Slay Steak Fish House - Manhattan Beach

Annie is a great manager and she was very smoooth my son and I. We love that they have a nice TV with some sports. It is a nice distraction and adds a nice touch to this fine place. Wine by the glass list was superb btw.

There's a good amount of seating in this establishment and the interior looks really nice. I thought the food was good but nothing spectacular. I went in thinking the steak would be great but it was just good. It's a bit pricey but I'm glad I tried it. Service was outstanding and we got checked on regularly.

Im not the type to leave any review, but this is the exact place that words are not enough to describe the experience ! Let me start here, the food was just outstanding, and while that is great, when you have the chef/owner walk out in his white nikes and shake everyones hand, now that is touching! Then when he was walking down, he came across his employees and patted his shoulder, acknowledging his hard work. They have their own wine/ winery in santa barbara and i was thinking, the owner probably enjoys his life with his wife making wine, they I see him walking out in his white Nike's just being a regular guy! Thats how I know the world is not gonna end because of people's dedication to the world! let this be my most meaningful yelp review!

Lovely experience they catered to my daughter and definitely made the dinning experience memorable. Kid-friendliness: They were absolutely patient with my daughter made her a Shirley Temple and she had her first steak tartar Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100

SLAY came highly recommended by a local friend. He did not lead us astray! I have NEVER written a restaurant review in my life but this experience warranted one. For starters, the atmosphere is lovely, the customer service was top notchat every point of our evening. We felt listened to, every request was met and exceeded with a smile and we were attended to without being smothered. We began with the amazing rolls perfectly baked to perfection. Then shared the Bleu Cheese wedge salad. My friend is not a fan of bleu cheese so they brought us a deconstructed salad and allowed us to prepared it to our preferences. So sweet! Adding my praise to other reviews about the scallops! Cannot say enough about how delicious these were. They practically melted in our mouths. We also split the panko crusted filet with broccolini. Another slam dunk! Our waiter, Jose surprised us with an awesome slice of lemon blueberry cheesecake since we were celebrating our joint birthdays. We will be craving this place for a long time. Hope to visit again soon. Got a chance to personally thank David Slay on our way out. What a great guy!
