Whataburger - Mansfield

I'm not sure what the appeal of this restaurant is, but I've tried to order from here three times, and each experience has been equally disappointing. Last night was the worst—when I took a bite of the burger, I was overwhelmed by bits of gristle and fat. I really can't understand why people rave about this place. It feels like they're using low-quality, cheap ingredients and passing them off as "fresh" to explain the unnecessarily long wait times for food that just isn't worth it.

BEWARE! We keep you hostage in the car thru. There's no way out. Once you order, you cannot go! Earlier times have ordered 20 minutes for an individual. BEWARE! This time it took 30 minutes. Be aware. If you are hungry or in a hurry, this is not the place for you.

Be prepared to spend at least 30 to 45 minutes if you plan on dining here. We've visited several times over the last two years, and the experience has consistently been the same. After our most recent visit, we've decided not to come back. The wait times are just too excessive.

I waited over 30 minutes on a Sunday morning, even though there were only three cars ahead of me, which I found confusing. When I finally reached the window, there were no explanations or apologies for the delay. As for the food, I was not impressed at all. The chicken was dry and drenched in a gooey syrup, sandwiched between two cookies for their chicken biscuit breakfast meal. I would much rather invest my time and money elsewhere.

I went inside to order food, after 10minutes with no food i asked what was going on and why It was taking so long. They told me they had an order of 40 burgers and It would be 30minutes for my food. I suggested they work in my two burgers and fries and they said they couldn’t do that. I asked if they were making food for the drive thru and they said no we are making the 40burgers for door dash first. Everyone has to wait. I feel that the line should still move and orders should be filled. Not just focus on one large order and stop everything else.
