O'connell's Pub - Mar del plata

I was disappointed. So dark. Uncomfortable seats and benches. And my medium well burger was too well done. I could change how I order next time but they don’t even have tomatoes or pickle slices to put on the burger. The house salad was almost all pepperoni (or some sausage slices) and a little lettuce. Dressing was good.

Very good cheeseburger and fries but they have no tomatoes for the burgers.

Can't beat the atmosphere of this classic Irish pub. Friendly service, dependable food, good people. Everything you need.

OConnells Pub is definitely a throwback to a different time. Dim lighting, dark heavy wood, and leather decor. Menu features pub food appetizers, burgers, huge portions of fish with fries. Burgers come with lettuce, no tomatoes (they don't serve them). The slaw lacked flavor. It is cabbage with vinegar dressing. Overall, it was a meal, not horrible, not great. Just a meal.

John (owner) was an absolute delight to work with! Also been a family favorite for several years!
