The Wok - Mar del plata

A horrible review read below, we came and sat down and waited for the waitress to see us.. took about 20 minutes. After that it took another 10 minutes to get the drinks, that was just the drinks, I know that they're busy and can see there's people here eating, the food took 45 minutes to come out, after I talked with GM, she barely acknowledged what I was saying to her and telling her that the waitress was rude, not nice and very unattentive, if I could give this 1 star I would but the one star will have to suffice. Overall the food was good and that is the best part of this review. understaffed, understaffed and long long wait. #beastly

Me and my husband went there to make a carryout order and the lady who greeted us was rude! We told her we wanted to make a carry out and she didn't say anything and just pointed to a sign that said dine in only. I said ok, we will sit down and eat. She then says, your food has to be half eaten to get a to go box. I was really annoyed at the fact that you would actually watch my plate and tell me I cant have a to go box if my food is not half eaten. We just told her nevermind and walked off. This was our fav restaurant but we will never be back!

My group had a hard time deciding between the burger place, buffet or Wok. All of us agreed after our meal that we made the best decision. Our server was fantastic! I forgot his name but he was a young Asian guy. He was funny, personable, and made great suggestions from the menu. He stayed on top of drink orders and was great about getting food quickly to our hungry group. I ordered the shrimp and scallop meal and loved it! I opted for fried rice and it was also good. The rest of my crew had a mixture of things off the menu and there were no complaints. By far though, our favorite menu items were definitely the sushi rolls. Sooooooo good!! Honestly there wasn’t a lot of sushi to choose from but the two we got were out of this world!! Price was reasonable too. This place is small and we were probably lucky to get all 8 of us around a table so I wouldn’t go with a big group without calling first but I like that it’s not crowded.

The crabragoon and egg rolls were great. I ordered my normal crunchy roll. I wanted to try something different and ordered the vietnamese noodles or pho. I was not disappointed and thought it was very good
