Faros Stou Chiou - Maragkas

I have to do a review of this wonderful restaurant before I leave Naxos. It offers a calm, peaceful, spacious place where you can watch the sunset. The food is amazing and the portions are generous as you can see in the pictures. I definitely recommend you to try this restaurant. Here we ate the best grilled vegetables with ricotta and they are all organic and created in the owner’s biological garden. That explains why they were so juicy, natural and tasty! We also tasted the lamb and it slides like butter! The mussels had this freshness and wine flavour. The owner is a nice, wise and very open minded lady, who has a big passion for Naxos and her life. It was an honor getting to know her and this place. We are in love and we are going to came back again before we leave. They also offer a free desert at the end of the meal! Beautiful family tavern with delicious Greek food with a view of the sea. We were there several times and let ourselves be pampered. Whether it was fried feta in filo crust as a starter, vegetarian moussaka, fresh fish with home-grown organic vegetables or juicy lamb chops, it was all delicious!
