I dislike places that seem to constantly charge extra for everything. It’s $8 for four spring rolls, but $4.50 for just two. A Vietnamese iced coffee is $6, yet a no-ice version is $6.75. Paying with a credit card costs $40, while cash payment is only $39.10. The food was good, but it wasn't impressive enough to justify this kind of service.
A place bursting with incredible flavors! From the moment I stepped inside, I knew this little gem was going to be exceptional. It’s a classic hole-in-the-wall with an extensive menu. The Sweet and Sour Pork stood out from what I'm used to—less breading and a fantastic sauce! While the quality of the meat wasn't top-notch, it didn't bother me. The chicken wings packed a punch in terms of heat but could have used a bit more salt. I don’t live nearby, but I’ll definitely stop by again when I'm in the Monterey Bay area.
Always a great spot for fast service, fresh food and competitive pricing. Plan accordingly at times, can have a lengthy wait.
Good tasting broth but can't say the same about the spring rolls and their chicken bbq rice plate. Service hasn't been great either. Today, they messed up our order and when hubby told them, they just told him it's been prepared even though they had us wait 15 minutes! No effort at all to make it right. So basically they had us pay for food that we didn't want. This is a good example of bad customer service and a business that don't care for their customers.
