Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónLovely camping grounds with lots to do for the kids, had a fantastic time here and we cant wait to return, entertainment was not the greatest but the location and staff where great, especially in the kids clubs.
An excellent site with good facilities. The restaurant is very good and the bar also provides snacks. The site has good swimming pools and access to the beach. The facilities are well maintained. There is a very good general store and also a bakery ..the baguettes are excellent). The pizzeria provide (at a price) a wide and lovely selection of pizzas. The site is large and does have shade on some pitches. Unfortunately the site which had been reserved for us was not adequate for our large caravan, awning vehicle. On returning to reception they were extremely helpful and gave us a plan showing us the sites available to us for the following weeks. We did find a site suitable, with water and electricity, but we were close to the hub of the site and therefore heard all the night time entertainment. We understood why the Eurocamp brochure stated that some of their properties where in the quietest part of the site which is divided by a road) There is entertainment for the children. Excellent bar and out door screen to watch the World Cup. This is one of the few sites that does not have ‘please keep the noise to a minimum after the entertainment of music can go on to midnight. Not conducive for sleep if you are close to the hub of the site and the main artery for walking for access from pitch to facilities. A word of warning, the mosquitos are viscous do make sure you bring a repellent and also an antihistamine. The site is an excellent site for families.
We travelled as generations adults, a teen and a yr old. We stayed in a eurocamp Aspect which was brand new and literally finished being put together the day we arrived. Outstanding level of accommodation, worth upgrading of you can! We...weren't blessed with the best weather and only got to use the outdoor pools once very cold but kids had fun. Indoor pools lovely though. The site itself is fine it's the surrounding area we did not like. There's nothing to do apart from the beach. We went further afield to Montpellier and also to Beziers very pretty places. We also went to an aquarium a few miles down the road small and got round it in about an hour but did enjoy it. Also nice walk down to the beaches here. Everyone in our party got bitten by mozzies the whole area for miles around is basically swamp land. Not an area we would return to!
This is a rooftop restaurant above the bar/cafe. It is a lovely campsite but a bit too big. The fantastic restaurant has a good menu but with a bit of focus on seafood which they do really well. The seafood pasta is recommended. The overall...campsite is on the beach, has great pools, and a good supermarket which doesn't rip you off.
Accommodation site Stayed in the Al Fresco mobile homes which are on the other side of the site where the supermarket, pools etc are. This means it's a very quiet part of the site which is good. Site felt nice secure and...well patrolled and it's well maintained and clean. Site is a good size, not too big or small. Road to the site is a bit busy and crazy with parked cars, pedestrians etc so take care on this. Beach accessed via a locked gate (downside is it is locked from which is a little early), beach has golden sand with very calm water. Supermarket onsite one is expensive but well stocked, there is a Spar about mile away which has a better selection more reasonable and if you have a car a really big Intermarche on the way to Agde minute drive) Eating Onsite bakery is AMAZING! Restaurant is good however also got the wifi excuse for cash only, this was an inconvenience as we use a currency card MasterCard. Wifi can pay to get wifi for up to gadgets (although not at the same time). Signal was poor. Half an hour free wifi at the bar each day, you need to ask for the code. Pools very good, m pool wasn't heated so perfect for a proper' swim. Slides were great fun and kids splash bit pool. Swimming trunks are mandatory, no shorts or the lifeguard will send you out! Location very close to Beziers airport, nearby tourist town strip is full of tourist stuff and is very tacky, we walked through it but didn't stop to eat or drink. Good train service from Agde, visited Montpellier and drove to Carcassone. Cap d'Agde is very nice with a good selection of restaurants, also went to Grau d'Agde which wasn't quite as good. Would recommend,
