Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI have dined at the Centerville site, because Subs am I a hard fan of Tuna and a variety of traditional subs, but today the Mason site came to us? unannounced and brought 5 samples of sandwiches, big surprise! Turkey, Bratbeef, Dagwood and an old fashion. My Bratbeef was good, like most Fast Food Deli stores, the other sandwiches got a good nod from the others. What a good way to promote this location and they also have free delivery.
Even though I'm a Diehard Jersey Mike's fan, I wanted to try DiBella 's for positive reviews about his fresh bread options. When I found myself near his Mason shop and searched for a sub, I finally tried. I ordered the Godfather (Genoa salami, capicola and spicy ham) on a white bread roll, dressed with oil, provolone, salad, tomatoes and onion. I was trying to get Mike's way to the juicy cing of Jersey Mike's oil, vinegar and oregano, but didn't want to appear rude. The taste of my subs was dominated by the rich mix of its fresh meat flavors, so much that it overwhelms the presence shown by all others. The bread was fresh, but its taste was exaggerated by the meat. It was an extremely dry sub. I also ordered a page of potato salad, which generously seasoned in portion and beautifully, far superior, most Fast Food restaurants ' potato salad. As first customers, I received a free chocolate chip cookie that was soft, moist and tasty. Overall, my DiBella 's Godfather Sub was fresh and excellent, but too dry to win me from Jersey Mike's Italian Sub Mike's way. Since I may have met some bad menu decisions, I have decided to give DiBella 's another attempt and perhaps ask the server to assemble a delicious dry-to-liquidally balanced sub with less meat and more dressings. In the meantime, DiBella 's, please add vinegar to your menu.
A really good sub-sandwich. I would characterize Dibella as Penn Station, but overall much healthier with much less fat and much better bread; and what Subway would be if they had a premium brand. Also not sure if they have frits: they are big on cold sides like potato salad. Think: Jersey Mike 's but with a grilled option and much more character. The bread on the subs is delicious all the flavor bread is excellent. Fresh and delicious ingredients. Even the small part is very fillable. The other critic is right, her Italian sub is the bomb.
Great.. We didn't actually start going to DiBella, but I'm glad we landed there today after the local amusement park. My party ordered several sandwiches including a children's meal and all enjoyed their own choices (and we shared so we enjoyed all the others! The children's meal included a sandwich, fruit cups, cookies and its selection of drinks. Healthy decisions and he loved it! I have the cheese steak on all bread. I love the sweet paprika that they saute together with mushrooms and onions. Yum! Someone else got the Brat-Rind-Dipper, who was also enjoyed by the 18-month old (partly because he could dip the bread himself. We also finished the meal with a chocolate chip cookie that was fresh, sweet and tasty. The staff was very friendly, answered our questions, had a good nature banter than they worked. The floors and tables were very clean and it would be a good place for families, people on their lunch break, they call it.
New location, great subs. Very nice, new restaurant. I went today for the first time and was pretty impressed. The restaurant itself is huge for a fast casual place. The large metal bar and white tile walls give the restaurant a clean, bright appearance. The booths are comfortable and there 's plenty of seating. I admittedly judge all sub places by their Italian sub. Take that as you will, it 's just my personal measure of a sub place. DiBella 's Italian is pretty damn good. The sub bread is soft yet doesn 't get soggy, and sweet yet doesn 't take attention away from the ingredients. You can get your sub cold or grilled (like at Penn Station). I thought their signature oil dressing was great as well. I had a chocolate chip cookie and it wasn 't bad either. Overall I was very impressed. With the departure of Quizno 's from the area I was looking for a replacement and I think DiBella 's is looking like the best in the area at this point. I 'd definitely recommend if you like subs and are in the area.
