A must see place whilst visiting the Derbyshire Dales Cromford Mill is the world's first water-powered cotton spinning mill, developed by Richard Arkwright in 1771 Would highly recommend the guided tour which is very reasonably priced and the pass is valid for a year, great value for money. Tour guide Philip was friendly and very informative and knowledgeable Visited on: Weekday Wait time: No wait Reservation recommended: Yes
A wonderful place to visit, we came here on a recommendation to see local artists and we were not disappointed. Great exhibition of the mills history and a very nice cafe for lunch. Perfect exactly what we needed on a rainy day. Wait time: No wait Reservation recommended: No
