Lam's Kitchen - Matthews

The food at Lam's Kitchen is incredibly flavorful, and the service is excellent. They offer a wide variety of options. However, it can be a bit on the pricey side, especially for someone like me who needs to order lo mein as a main dish since it's not available as a side option. Overall, I would definitely recommend Lam's Kitchen.

Absolutely delicious food! The Sichuan dumplings are out of this world. Every other dish was exceptional as well, featuring unique flavors and spices. This isn't your average Chinese restaurant menu. It's a cozy spot, so expect to wait during peak hours. Although I live in uptown and it's quite a drive for me, it's completely worth it. I’ll definitely be returning! It's fantastic and truly authentic.

As someone who grew up in Charlotte during the 90s, I could never have predicted that after living in NYC for over a decade, we'd find our favorite Chinese cuisine right here in Matthews. I am truly grateful to the kitchen staff—they really know their craft. The quality of the food is exceptional, and every take-out order comes with generous portions. My husband and I absolutely adore this local gem.

For those looking for a takeout place this is a great place for Chinese takeout food. This is very popular and you may have to order in advance, but the service has always been great and the food never disappointed.

Best and most authentic Szechuan food in the Charlotte area. Worth the drive. We always get the fried shrimp balls (always get 2 orders! , the Szechuan dumplings (get like 2-3 orders! , Cumin Lamb, Curry Soft Shell Crab (my absolute fave! , Boiled Beef (don’t let the name fool you- it’s Effin AMAZING!! , Beef Chow Fun (duh . If you have any Boiled Beef leftover... add ramen noodles or any noodles the next day and Bam! You have an amazing lunch!
