Gasthof Fürst - Mattsee

Stayed here for 4 nights here with my partner and young child. We got the 120 bus from Salzburg, the closest bus stop is about 15 minutes away but even with a suitcase and pram we found the walk easy. If you have a car no problem at all. The walk into Mattsee is about 40 minutes but again the walk is pleasant enough. The room was of ample size and had plenty of storage room, was in classic Austrian/German guesthouse style with lots of wood. The bathroom was perhaps a bit dated in style but everything worked and we had no issues with the room. It did appear the the hotel was upgrading its rooms so I imagine by next summer things will be even nice. The proprietor Herr Furst was extremely friendly and spoke good English. The whole place had a genuine family feel that made us feel very welcome. The bar was well stocked and the beer well kept, we drank Trumer pils and this went down very well! We ate a lunch and dinner and the food was very tasty, we were sad that the restaurant was closed on Wednesday and Thursday as we would have loved to have eaten there again (really enjoyed the three dumpling dish). Breakfast was brought to the table and involved various cheeses and meats, eggs and fruit. The breakfast was plentiful and if required more was brought out. Was very happy with the breakfast. Would definitely stay at again.

хороший отель ,все что нужно есть в нем и кафе и в номере,хозяин отеля очень хороший мужчина вежливый ,персонал тоже!!!в номерах все очень чисто ,кухня вкусная !до ближайшего магазина прогулочным шагом минут 40 ,все очень понравилось!

Direkt neben der hauptstraße gelegen und trotzdem vermutlich ruhigem gastgarten, erwarten einen helle räume und ein "freundlicher wirt persönlich".eine salzburg bezogene speisenkarte mit tages/wochenangeboten, läßt jeden etwas finden und paßen preis und leistung, vor allem da FÜR DAS AUGE serviert wird und man das appetittliche bild gar nicht zerstören will beim essen.es lohnt sich öfters hin zu gehen, da es viele "lieblingsgerichte" gibt.schön gezapftes trumerbier löscht den durst und das weinangebot belebt die sinne.man muß schon sehr konsequent sein um den versuchungen der nachspeisen nicht zu unterliegen. es lohnt sich aber und kompensiert man das ganze am besten bei einem dort immer möglichem spaziergang zum graben oder mattsee.

In dem Ranking nicht so weit vorne,aber da ißt man sehr gut.Gute Auswahl in der Speisekarte große Portionen gut und schmackhaft zubereitet.service freundlich ein Gasthof zur Weiterempfehlung absolut geeignet
