Pelican - Mbarara

Great ambiance and friendly service, but parking could be better.

The rooms are decent and priced moderately for Mbarara, although they are a bit on the higher side. The location is excellent, situated on a quiet street while still being close to good restaurants and easily accessible to the main road. The rooms are spacious, and the hot water is reliable. However, the service could use some improvement. I was particularly disappointed by the breakfast; for a price of 70,000 or 80,000, the meal consisting of an omelet with two slices of bread and either coffee or tea felt rather basic and lacking in flavor. They could definitely enhance that experience. Additionally, the TV in the room was barely watchable, making it difficult to see what was on the screen, so I ended up turning it off.

A very accessible hotel with great food and accommodation..... Located in the Central Business District of Mbarara (about to get city status)

Room was comfortable. Not the cheapest prices. WiFi only works right near the reception. It did not work in the room or in the dining area.
