Floyd's Frosty - MCCLOUD

The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. Our dishes were hand-delivered, even when dining outside. The view of Mount Shasta was stunning. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience in Northern California.

The burgers are excellent and the fries are amazing (hot and crunchy). This will be our go-to stop whenever we pass through McCloud from now on!

We were served by Floyd himself who was very friendly. This restaurant is very popular and the food was delicious. My parents enjoyed the patty melt and fries, while I had an elk burger with tater tots. Our meals were all very tasty. If you're in McCloud, make sure to stop by for a delicious meal.

Burger and fries were excellent, staff was extremely friendly, and the prices were super reasonable compared to some similar small burger joints I've recently been to. It was extremely busy, although to be fair, it was around noon, there's a Mushroom festival this weekend, and it's Memorial Weekend to boot. The seating inside can feel a bit cramped, especially with so many people trying to order, HOWEVER, if you manage to snag a table outside, you get a pretty awesome view of Mt. Shasta between some houses across the street (would be even better if the weather wasn't so cloudy).

Had lunch here yesterday afternoon on our way to hedge Creek Falls. Had a barbecue bacon, burger, and the elk cheeseburger. Both were really good and I loved the tanginess of the barbecue sauce. The fries are pretty good as well. My wife really liked the soft serve ice cream cone that she got. The strawberry milkshake is good too The employee behind the register was very kind to us and informative. We also had some very pleasant conversation with some of the locals that we’re having lunch there. Would definitely recommend stopping by here on your way through or if spending the night.
