Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and an amazing staff, which definitely earns it five stars! However, the food was rather underwhelming. The mushroom risotto was just okay, while the stuffed jalapeños were quite good. The kids opted for chicken tenders, which were decent, and the fries were better than expected. An adult in our party tried the jambalaya pasta and the Lake Charles creole chicken; both dishes were tasty, but nothing particularly impressive. The one standout (though not in a good way) was a $14 cocktail that was gone after just a few sips. It was delicious, but definitely overpriced and smaller than expected.
Everything we ordered was fantastic. We had the Po-Boy with walleye, crawfish étouffée, and the Hurricane salmon with hush puppies. We will definitely visit again!
The music is also a highlight, featuring some great jazz that adds to the ambiance. For my meal, I ordered fried pickles as an appetizer and the Lake Charles Creole chicken as my main dish. The shrimp was juicy, the Creole sauce had a mild spiciness to it, the green beans were excellent, and the garlic bread was perfect. I swapped out the white rice for the dirty rice, and that was definitely a worthwhile choice. The customer service was outstanding. My waiter, Kyle, and their manager frequently checked in on me to ensure I had everything I needed, making me feel like a top priority. My drinks arrived promptly, which I really appreciated. Overall, it's absolutely worth visiting this place. I can see it getting quite busy during dinner rushes, and I completely understand why. If you're looking for the perfect combination of spicy, savory seafood, this is definitely the restaurant for you.
Cajun Skillet was delish as usual. Blackened fish poor boy also delicious. Fried pickles were sliced a little thicker that tasted great with the crunchy exterior and dipping sauce. Service was great.
We had a pleasant family dinner here. eating was good and atmosphere was fun. definitiw a kitschiges cajun chain restaurant. The thema is quite heavy in your face when you get through the door? but this is part of the fun. we ordered a cheese and chicken fondue to start. came with garlic bread to immerse in it. it was really hard, but delicious. the Jalapeno chicken was okay, not as exciting as he hoped, but pretty good. buttermilk chicken baskets were good. came with mais, pommes and hush puppies. the chicken was tender and the brot was the real deal. not excessively fat. child meal was very economical! if they have a child with a healthy appetit, I strongly recommend ordering from the adult menu. raw oyster were not the best. we regret to order them, but we have finished them. would have been nice if they had been hot. we didn't ask, so I think this is with us? fish basket was very nice. the teig was good and the fish was fresh and fluffy. cajun tricky fish was excellent! dirty rice was perfect, étouffé was on the spot and the black tilapia perfect. service was good. we were never left with empty glasses, but the empty glasses stacked on the table. our courts of our starters stayed with us all the time. once a superior came by and made a lot clear. manager also came a few times and seemed really nice. we never asked to take those plates, but it would have been nice if they were. I shouldn't have to ask for my opinion. overall we had a good experience and enjoyed our meal.
