Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWent with a group of friends on a weekday night. Staff couldn't have been more friendly. Ordered entrees of kafta meatballs, lamb cutlets, trio of dips and a sausage pizza with cheese stuffed crust. All of them were shared and thoroughly enjoyed.Reese, our waiter had good knowledge of the wine list, the menu specials and that a new chef has taken the food to a higher level. Mains ordered were lamb shanks, spaghetti pizza, whole snapper, ribs and a seafood with avocado. Served in good time. All 5 of us were very impressed. Fine dining! Will definitely be going back, there was no hint of the previous reviews questionable meals.
Unfortunately the food here is extremely disappointing. Alarm bells were going off for us when the place was relatively empty on a Saturday night while every other restaurant was busy on Mt Road. 4 adults in my dinner group all did not enjoy our different meals.2 of us ordered rib eye steaks, we asked for them medium rare and they were served tough and chewy and way over well done.1 chicken salad had some parts of the chicken that were undercooked.1 order of oso buco was very tough and chewy.flavour was great but my wife struggled to eat it as it was tough as leather. Supposed to be soft like butter.I really regret going here and regret not playing it safe by going to a well known local eatery instead... But we wanted somewhere family friendly and were keen to try somewhere new. I'm assuming if your reading this you are an educated individual trying to work out if you should eat here. Trust me. SKIP THIS PLACE.On a plus side the service is great here, and my baby's kids meal was fine. Although my son did not eat his rainbow flavoured ice cream that came with the kids meal because it tasted like play dough. (Seriously even the ice cream was bad my 2 year old didn't eat it!)The waitress was friendly and funny but the meals we got were not as good quality as described. She was nice enough to give us a free garlic bread which was nice, but it doesn't fix the fact that the food is terrible.I feel bad writing this review but it's all true and I feel a little bummed that I wasted $130 on this meal tonight for my group. If I was a betting man, I'd bet this place will be closed by Xmas.
Fantastic food and friendly serviceWhat we ordered was tasty and prepared to perfectionWe had broth which was prepared the old fashion waysNot too thick and with enough vegetables and meat to make it a mealThis is the second time we were thereThe first time we had gourmet pizzaIt was cooked to perfection and it was delicious
Wife and i ate here 3 weeks ago and enjoyed it immensely.service was fast and attentive.had set menu which consisted of nice bread and dips with a glass of wine.followed by the mince pizza which was one of the best iv'e had anywhere including Italy.could not finish my meal so they gave us a doggy bag to take home.thanks to all and will be back
We three of us, arrived at this fairly new restaurant on a Saturday night. It was barely 20% occupied. We ordered entree and it arrived 50 minutes later, Our drinks were provided by a waitress who was not aware of the beers/ciders on the menu. We were about to leave and go to any other restaurant in the area...when the entree finally arrived. Not too impressed with the meals very ordinary, staff was hanging about at the kitchen window waiting for food as patrons were getting impatient,Finally mains arrive, I was disappointed with my beef ribs, not enough and too grissely. My husbands fish of the day was placed on vegetables that were very ordinary. My friend's fried fish was served on her salad! Hmmm soggy salad, needless to say she was unimpressed as well. The desserts did not tempt us we shared one. Coffees were good. The table of 6 beside us were very embaressed, they had visitors from Adelaide for dinner, at least they got some chips as a way of compensation for the loooong wait only after a complaint. Checked out the kitchen on the way to the bathroom (which was clean) and saw only one fustrated cook. Clearly understaffed in the kitchen. They should not have seating for so many people if it clearly cannot be handled for dinner service. My advice........don't go hungry.LOL
