Old Zinnie's - Memphis

The sandwiches here are huge, and delicious. I highly recommend the Roast Beef sandwich. The ingredients are always good quality and fresh. And the service is great.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Memphis, and I always take out-of-town friends here for the huge sandwiches, awesome salads, and variety of other stuff on the menu. It's a very laid-back atmosphere, and service can be a little slow at times, but this is a Memphis establishment that no one should miss! The weekly specials (prime rib, oysters, etc) are stellar, and the restaurant is known for its Zinnie-loneys, which are sandwiches made with massive slices of baloney cooked a variety of ways. Trust me, its way better than kindergarten. I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was a little girl, and every time I return home to Memphis it's one of my first stops.

I thought dive bar’s weren’t a thing until I found this place! Great establishment, definitely check it out!

If you're looking for a loud dive bar with efficient bartenders this is a great place!

Made an annual visit to Zinnies last night. Have always had a good time there. Last night was a bit different. Bartender served us with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. A little disconcerting. No management or owners present as far as I ascertain .
